Arafah International School strongly believes that the key to success, with the help of God is Education with Discipline, Dedication, and Determination.
Here we believe in

“E is for Effort and not Excuse”.

Discipline – – Discipline, being an important virtue is typically integral to the success of a student. Discipline extends to personal life, career, study and social life. So, it is good to inculcate student discipline in schools, which can help children to habituate it and can be carried on for life.
Dedication – Dedication is having a true passion for a certain purpose or goal in life. It is not just to be good at something, but being exceptional. To be truly exceptional at something, you have to be dedicated to it. Dedication is the key to success.
Determination – “To make it Happen”. Self-determined children make positive things happen at school, with friends, within their community and in their families. Students should be used to a “Can do” attitude. They will be able to better cope up with the academic and social demands of life during their middle and high school. After high school, they are more likely to transit successfully into adult life.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) formerly known as National Open School (NOS) was established in November,1989 as an autonomous organization in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India. There are many resource centres in Bangalore that offer coaching to students who take up the syllabus of National Institute of Open Schooling.
There are also some schools who teach NIOS syllabus in regular classes.
Official Gazette of India, Indian Constitution and MHRD says NIOS qualifications are valid. Education being a concurrent subject as per Indian Constitution, state Governments are bound to recognize the certificates issued by a Union Government Institution. Hence many courts issued orders to clarify this.
